Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 18, 2026
ShareSpider is an internal tool. It is not publicly distributed and access is granted manually by the administrator of Webdelo Studio.
This Privacy Policy describes how ShareSpider ("the Application", "we", "our") — a macOS-native desktop application developed and used exclusively by the internal team of Webdelo Studio — handles data.
1. Scope & Applicability
ShareSpider is a closed internal software tool. It is not sold, licensed, or distributed to the general public. Access is provisioned manually by the Webdelo administrator and protected by a mandatory internal authentication form.
This policy applies to all authorized users within the Webdelo team who operate the Application.
2. Data Access Model: Read-Only
ShareSpider connects to third-party advertising platforms — primarily Google Ads — exclusively in read-only mode. The Application:
- Retrieves Search Terms, ads, keywords, and campaign performance metrics for analysis.
- Never modifies, creates, pauses, or deletes campaigns, ads, keywords, or any other entity.
- Never changes bids, budgets, or targeting settings.
- Does not perform automatic optimizations or automated rule-based actions.
All decisions based on collected data are made by human PPC specialists — the Application provides information, not autonomous action.
3. Information Collected
3.1 Campaign Data (via Google Ads API)
- Search term reports
- Keyword performance data
- Ad copy and creative metadata
- Impression share, click-through rates, conversion metrics
- Lost impression share and lost budget estimates
- Landing page URLs associated with campaigns
This data is retrieved through OAuth 2.0 with the minimum required scopes for read access.
3.2 Landing Page Content
ShareSpider fetches and analyzes the content of landing pages linked to ad campaigns for relevance auditing. No personal data of website visitors is collected.
3.3 User Authentication Data
- Internal login credentials (managed and provisioned by the Webdelo administrator).
- Session tokens for the duration of active use.
4. How Data Is Used
All collected data is used exclusively for internal analysis by the Webdelo team:
- Audit landing page relevance against campaign keywords.
- Identify underperforming ads and wasted budget.
- Generate unified performance reports for PPC specialists.
- Track campaign quality metrics over time.
- Correlate lead volume drops with market-wide search trends.
5. Data Storage & Security
- Campaign data is stored locally on the user's macOS device and optionally in a shared workspace accessible to authorized Webdelo team members.
- All local storage is protected by macOS file-system encryption (FileVault, where enabled).
- OAuth tokens are stored in the macOS Keychain.
- No campaign data is transmitted to external servers outside of Google's own APIs.
6. Data Sharing & Third Parties
ShareSpider does not share, sell, rent, or trade campaign data with any third party. Data remains within:
- The local device of the authorized Webdelo specialist.
- Internal Webdelo infrastructure used for team collaboration.
- Google's infrastructure — solely via the official Google Ads API, under Google's own data processing terms.
No analytics, telemetry, or tracking SDKs are embedded in the Application. No usage data is sent to ShareSpider developers or Webdelo administrators beyond what is visible in shared workspace files.
7. Data Retention
Campaign data and audit reports are retained as long as needed for ongoing analysis. Users may delete local data at any time. OAuth tokens can be revoked from the Google Account permissions page.
8. User Rights
As an internal tool used by Webdelo team members, data access and management are governed by internal studio policies. Authorized users may:
- Request deletion of their authentication account (contact administrator).
- Revoke Google Ads API access from their Google Account at any time.
- Delete local application data from their macOS device.
9. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated as the Application evolves. Changes will be communicated internally to all authorized users and reflected on this page.
10. Contact
For questions about this Privacy Policy or data handling practices, contact the Webdelo administrator at webdelo.stream@gmail.com.
